As the Stars wrapped up training camp with their intrasquad scrimmage, the team’s defensemen took the chance to show off their offensive ability. The Dallas Stars mobile defense put on a show in an intrasquad scrimmage that closed out a three-day training camp in Cedar Park. Defenseman Nick Ebert had a hat trick while Julius Honka and Mattias Backman also scored in Team White’s 7-4 victory against Team Victory Green. “I thought it was a real good day on the offensive side for our defensemen,” Dallas coach Lindy Ruff said. “Even a guy like Ebert, who’s new to the crew here, had a real good day. I thought Honka skated really well. Overall I noticed our defense and their mobility.” After Day 3 ended,
