Saintly visit for Alexander

The New Orleans Saints will bring in free-agent tailback Shaun Alexander for a visit this week, a sign that they're still in the market for some insurance in case Deuce McAllister is unable to return to form.

Alexander, 30, was released by the Seattle Seahawks last month after two disappointing, injury-plagued seasons. The former league MVP and three-time Pro Bowl player was scheduled to make his first free-agent visit with the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.

I think there's a blog about the Flyers/Pens series on the MLB rumors. Time to replace the chimpanzees who enter these rumors. Who knows? Maybe Alexander can skate after all!?

Cliff Fletcher would sign him in a flash. Betmann probably would favor a rules change allowing cleats and spikes for former NFLers drafted into the league.
    NHL, no. CFL, why not.

What's more annoying...a simple mistake involving an illiterate office monkey that occasionally mistakes 'H' and 'F,' or the "my sport is better than your sport" monkey that pops up everytime the office monkey makes this mistake? Personally, I say it's the second type that says the same thing everytime this happens, but that's just me. So go ahead and fling your dried out dung at each other, or maybe you could even learn to respect other peoples preferences? Or feel free to cling to your ignorance, it is a 'free' country after all...

books, why are you so sensitive. This is a sports page. Fans have been talking trash to each other for many many years. Thats half the fun. Most people do this in good humor and fun. If you can't let loose for your favorate sports team or sport, where can you?
