Forsberg still an unhealthy scratch?

The new year approaches, and still no word where/if Peter Forsberg will play in the NHL this season.

Agent Don Baizley: "If he can't play at 100 percent, he doesn't want to play." Forsberg, last seen with the Nashville Predators, intended to play this season, and has drawn interest from many places, including Ottawa, Detroit, Colorado, and Vancouver. But ongoing foot/ankle issues prevented him from playing a few weeks ago in a tournament with the Swedish national squad.

Detroit does'nt need to sign Forsberg and risk having another Bertuzzi like last year who was not the Bertuzzi of old.
Unless Forsberg agrees to an incentive type of contract he is too risky for the Wings anyways who have the space to sign a somewhat healthy player. The Wings should of grabbed Recchi for cheap and took a gamble on him because I think he would of scored with the yound Wings feeding him the puck like Hull a few years ago who went to another team and decided to hang up the skates a short time later.

Yeah, Floppa should let sleeping dogs lie. Although, rumor outa' Orange County is that his agent and Burke have been in talks. However, that would take some Cap juggling of epic proportions.

#9 Are you still bitter about Forsberg cutting up the Red Wings every time he played them while he was a member of the Avalanche?
Forsberg = HOF........ not the fourth line of the Red Wings.
Bring back the "Grind Line" so you can talk about how good they were.... ignorant Red Wing fan is the worst.

Forsberg is sensational. Anywhere he goes he will provide much improvement.. i think however that even though i hate the Sens... Forsbergs best bet for a stanley cup would be with Ottawa

We don't need another Dave Andreychuk situation here. If he had any dignity at all he'd hang up the skates tomorrow. His reputation is already in jeopardy, so for his own sake he should just let go. Too bad inuries plagued this guys career though. wow could he have been great.
