Jason ArnottThe New Jersey Devils, currently 20 points away from a playoff spot, started to shake up their roster on Jan. 7 when they traded Jamie Langenbrunner(notes) to the Dallas Stars.

Now the New York Post reports that center Jason Arnott(notes), who came to the team via trade from the Nashville Predators last summer, is getting a lot of interest from other teams. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

The Montreal Canadiens are thought to be interested, according to the Post, and Canadiens GM Pierre Gauthier and a scout were both at the Devils' game on Sunday. The Washington Capitals are also reported to be interested.

As for Langenbrunner, the Post reports that the Philadelphia Flyers made a trade offer for him that "was far superior to the conditional third-to-second rounder acquired from Dallas," but the Devils apparently didn't want to trade Langenbrunner to a division rival.

However, the Devils have gone 6-0-1 in the last seven games so GM Lou Lamoriello may take a break from any trading action this weekend at the All-Star game so he can see which direction his team is going to go for the rest of the season.
