The New York Rangers took down the last-place Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 in overtime Sunday and they may end up taking one of the Ohio team's best players before the Feb. 27 trading deadline as well.
The word is Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash is on the trading block and that the Rangers are seriously interested in adding the 27-year-old left wing who has 19 goals and 21 assists so far this season, according to ESPN.com.
"I just worry about today," Nash said Sunday, according to the site. "Right now I'm a Blue Jacket and that's what matters. I've played my whole career here."
The game went into overtime after Nash scored with 1:33 left in the contest. Nash does have a no-movement clause in his contract but was asked if he'd waive it to go to the Rangers: "No comment," he said, ESPN reports.

Please don't change the player chemistry on this Rangers team! This is by far the best set of players the Rangers have had on the ice since the 50-60's. Move on! Keep what you have now and bring the Cup back to NYC!
Good pick-up if the price isn't too steep. By too steep I mean taking much from their current starting roster. Don't want to mess with the good chemistry they have going right now. They all work well together, block shots, hit, etc....
Heard their high pick from last year, a future #1 and Dubi....I'm for that one even though Dubi is one of my fav's!
