Pyatt’s late goal lifts Coyotes over Blues 4-3

ST. LOUIS (AP)—Taylor Pyatt(notes) scored the go-ahead goal on a wraparound with 3:12 to go in the Phoenix Coyotes’ 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Monday night.

Kyle Turris(notes) scored the tying goal on a rush that took advantage of the Blues’ fourth line, and assisted on Pyatt’s 10th of the season, a play that caught Jaroslav Halak(notes) and the St. Louis defense off-guard. The Coyotes turned the tables on the Blues, who beat them 4-3 on Dec. 31 in St. Louis.

Phoenix has won three of four.

The Blues have lost four in a row since topping Phoenix. Matt D’Agostini(notes) and Brad Winchester(notes) scored in a 20-second span early in the third to give St. Louis a 3-2 lead. Winchester, who plays on the checking line, has scored in three straight games for the first time in his career.
