BUFFALO, NEW YORK (TICKER) —The Florida Panthers look to continue playing well on the road Wednesday night as they open up a four-game trip against the Buffalo Sabres.

Florida is 16-12-5-4 away from home and is the NHL’s only losing team with a winning road record. The Panthers are winless in their last 13 home games, but are 7-3-0 on the road since the All-Star break.

The Panthers come off a 4-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Monday that finished an 0-3 homestand. Marcus Nilson netted his 15th goal and Jani Hurme made 33 saves in his first start since March 8.

Buffalo has defeated Philadelphia and Colorado in its last two home games and is seeking its first three-game home winning streak since a five-game run from March 14-30, 2001.

Jochen Hecht scored his second goal of the game with 45 seconds left in overtime to give the Sabes a 4-3 victory over Colorado on Monday.

The season series is tied 1-1-1. In two of the three games visiting goaltenders have recorded shutouts.
