DALLAS (TICKER) —The Dallas Stars’ try to become the third team in the NHL with 100 points Sunday night when they host the St. Louis Blues.

The Stars need a win to reach 100 points for the sixth time in seven seasons. A win also will clinch the Pacific Divison title for Dallasm which is two points behind the Detroit Red Wings for the top spot in the Western Conference.

Dallas is 7-6-3-2 since All-Star goaltender Marty Turco went down with a sprained ankle on February 14. Turco has been practicing with the team and could return later this week.

Backup Ron Tugnutt has dropped three of his last four decisions since posting back-to-back shutouts.

The Stars are coming off Friday’s 3-2 overtime setback to Minnesota as former Blue Scott Young scored twice, giving him five goals in his last three games since returning from a two-game suspension.

St. Louis is 9-4-1-1 in its last 15 games, seven points behind first-place Detroit in the Central Division and is tied for fourth place in the West with Colorado.

The Blues were defeated, 4-2, by the Red Wings on Saturday. Doug Weight and Eric Boguniecki tallied, but Chris Osgood lost for the first time since being acquired from the New York Islanders at the trade deadline.

The series is tied, 1-1-1.
