ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA (TICKER) Ron Tugnutt tries for a third straight shutout on Wednesday when the conference-leading Dallas Stars seek a fifth victory in six games when they visit the Minnesota Wild.

Tugnutt made 23 saves on Sunday as Dallas posted a 3-0 victory over San Jose on Sunday. He followed that up with 25 saves on Tuesday in a 2-0 triumph at Columbus.

Ulf Dahlen and rookie Steve Ott each scored for Dallas on Tuesday as it moved within one point of Ottawa for the best record in the NHL. Tugnutt extended his scoreless streak to 122 minutes, 57 seconds.

On Tuesday, the Wild signed goaltender Dwayne Roloson to a multi-year contract extension. Roloson is 18-14-7 with a 1.98 goals-against average and .927 save percentage, but has not won since February 25.
