PHILADELPHIA (TICKER) —The Los Angeles Kings seek a fourth victory in five contests when they open a five-game road trip on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers at the First Union Center.

Los Angeles has won three of four, including a 3-2 triumph over San Jose on Monday.

Derek Armstrong, Ziggy Palffy and rookie Alexander Frolov scored for the Kings, with Frolov tallying the go-ahead goal with 6:19 left in the third period. Jamie Storr recorded 24 saves in the win.

Philadelphia is 1-0-2 since being shut out in back-to-back games. On Tuesday, the Flyers skated to a 2-2 tie against New Jersey.

Donald Brashear scored a goal and set up Keith Primeau’s marker and Roman Cechmanek stopped 34 shots in the triumph.

The Flyers defeated the Kings in Los Angeles on January 22, 4-1.

Philadelphia has won six of seven at home against Los Angeles.
