VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker)—The Minnesota Wild try to improve to 3-1 on their five-game road trip when they conclude their season series against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday at General Motors Place.

The Wild had won the first two games of their road trip before falling to San Jose on Saturday, 4-1.

Marian Gaborik scored for Minnesota but it was the only shot the team was able to get past Evgeni Nabokov in 33 attempts.

The Canucks had lost back-to-back contests before posting a 1-0 victory over Phoenix on Sunday.

Peter Skudra made 20 saves for his first shutout in exactly one year and Markus Naslund scored his league-leading 34th goal as the Canucks avoided their first three-game losing streak of the season.
