ST. LOUIS (TICKER) —Two of the top teams in the Western Conference face off Saturday when the Dallas Stars visit the St. Louis Blues at the Savvis Center.
The Stars lead the Western Conference with 66 points while the Blues are third with 62.
Dallas had gone 9-0-3 - the longest unbeaten streak in the NHL this season and third-best in team history - before losing to Tampa Bay on Friday, 4-1.
Defenseman Sergei Zubov scored on the power play early in the third period, but the Stars could not get any of their other 25 shots past John Grahame.
The Blues capped a 1-1-1 road trip with a 3-3 tie at Chicago on Thursday. Alexander Khavanov, Al MacInnis and Dallas Drake each scored in the final 19 minutes as St. Louis rallied from a 3-0 deficit.
