RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA (TICKER)—The St. Louis Blues head back on the road and begin a three-game trip on Monday when they visit the struggling Carolina Hurricanes.

The Blues earned seven of a possible 10 points during a five-game road trip January 7-14, and are 12-8-3-2 away from the Savvis Center this season.

Eric Boguniecki set up a pair of third period goals by Martin Rucinsky and defenseman Alexander Khavanov to lead St. Louis over the Chicago Blackhawks, 4-2, on Saturday. The win was the fifth in seven games (5-1-0-2) for the Blues, who have taken at least one point in 14 of their last 15 games.

The Hurricanes were swept in a home-and-home series by the New Jersey Devils, suffering a 5-2 loss on the road Saturday and are winless over their last seven games. Since December 3, the defending Eastern Conference Champions have just 11 points.

Carolina cannot even find relief in its own building. With their 2-1 loss to the Devils on Friday, the Hurricanes matched a franchise record with their sixth consecutive home defeat.

This is the second and final meeting of the season between these two teams. St. Louis rookie defenseman Tom Koivisto scored with 61 seconds left in overtime to give the St. Louis Blues a 2-1 victory over the Hurricanes back on October 15.
