Here are your Puck Headlines: a glorious collection of news and views collected from the greatest blogosphere in sports and the few, the proud, the mainstream hockey media. • We love this photo from Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals. We also can't imagine how many people mistook Chad…
Don't listen to Yzerman, Lu. He's just playing hard to get. Shortly after the Vancouver Canucks were eliminated from the playoffs, reports surfaced that Roberto Luongo had requested a trade in his exit interview. (Those reports were confirmed Wednesday by Canucks coach Alain Vigneault in an…
• John Tortorella, when asked how he was going to get his forwards going on Tuesday: "Pray." He then read an excerpt from his memoir on a trip he took around the world after splitting from the Tampa Bay Lightning. • By the way, in case it wasn't clear that John Tortorella's sense of humour is…
i expect a full on brawl to the end. the beeees have lost many O' game one and they are still here. i think the more unpredictable team will prevail, because of depth. in the play offs depth is half the fight.
both teams fans should be weary of the referee factor, they have been too quiet. i hope the refs keep doing nothing because that is what real hockey is all about. let them play.
Hey Applehead......It's great that you know everything that will happen before it does. After this series, how about giving me the powerball numbers each week, lol. .......You're in for a rude awakening my delusional friend. lmao. .......Btw, all that capitalization just makes you look quite foolish.
LMAO!!!!
Congratulations Bruins on probably one of the best games played this season, and at one of the most important times. On this night the better team definitely one. To certain Bruins fans here whom I respect (I love Ska for instance) I am glad for you since it has been a 20 year wait to get to this point. For those Haters (Riot and Bruins4Ever come to mind) at least make an attempt not to be a poor winner. If you are truly a fan of hockey then have respect for fans of other teams who also share a passion for hockey as well as for their home teams.
You know Boston will probably and, unfortunately, win just so we can see and hear possibly some of the worst and arrogant blowhard, elitist, entitlement minded fans crow endlessly for all eternity.....
Congratulations Boston Bruins. 2010-11 Eastern Conference Champions and Prince of Wales Trophy winners. That was an amazing game seven. No penalties and only one goal scored. Both teams played cautiously and conservatively to avoid mistakes. Nice crossover tip in goal by David Krejci and Nathan Horton. Boston defense and goaltending came up big to shut down Tampa Bay Lightning's offense and All Star forwards. Onto Vancouver and the Stanley Cup Finals!
Both teams is a winner. Boston wins Stanley Cup, where Vancouver canucks wins Coffee Cup !
boston will not win the cup.
how about the bolt's
It took everything Boston had to beat a team that was just a little faster than they were. I don't see them doing that two series in a row. Canucks in 6.
Is it Wednesday yet? I can't wait. Nathan Horton was the hero in game 7. Bruins must contain the Sedin twins. Wow. I think whoever win the first 2 games will win the Stanley Cup. Canucks have home ice advantage. If they win the first 2 games they have an 80% chance of winning the Stanley Cup. That's my prediction. Maybe this is year of the Canucks. What is the Canucks logo? Is a fish, sword fish or an ill? It looks very ugly. I am NOT a fan of neither team.
boston bruins are made up of a group of thugs that try to start fist fights when the game is over - horton finally fined (oh, for shame) from throwing a water bottle at a tampa fan.....warning to bruin fans - think twice about coming to florida (especially tampa bay) on your next vacation - there's a reward out for your @#$%....you have never had a player with the courage of steve stamkos to return to the game with a broken nose - you @#$% can reserve your tee times now cause vancover is going to clean your clocks......ps verizon customer service is the worst of any company doing business.
That wasn't a 'skill' goal for Boston...maybe they didn't deserve to win..lol
So Canucks have not faced a hot goalie yet, eh?
First round: Hawks MVP, and had they won the series, an early Conn Smythe favourite: Cory Crawford...
Round two: the Goalie, once again, Preds best player, and also an early Conn Smythe hopeful, if his team had been as good as he was: Pekka Rinne
Round 3: Anti Niemi, never lost a playoff series, defending Stanley Cup Championship team goalie...
What was that about Canucks not having to face any good goalies? DUMB ASSES!!!
Oh, by the way, fukc Tampa!
Wow,...there's alot of psychic ppl in the world who knows what and when about a game thats TOTALLY unpredictable! It doesn't matter what a teams stats are before or during playoff season as i've watched numerous games between great teams and poor teams and there's always that factor of CHANCE-anything can happen!! I'm a Bruins fan yet i'll be mature enough to not put other teams down or base my opinion on "stats" or history because ANY team can win or lose!I've seen teams of veteran players mow through other teams and then again i've seen rookies do the same and hand these veteran players their butts. When it comes down to the game there's quite a few factors that determine winners:skill, stamina, experience, strength, team work, speed, endurance, coaching, DETERMINATION and chance!! I'm hoping the Bruins win the cup but,...may the best team who wants that cup the most win.
Oh Canada, your mothers are hairy, oh Canada, we give our turds for thee, oh Canada we sit on the toilet for thee, Oh Canada the Bruins in 4
Interesting how everyone is calling the Bruins lucky when it's not true. They fought their way through tough opponents and deservedly gained their trip to the final. The only bit of luck was the goal that got Vancouver in. I could have scored from there if no one was watching me and I don't play hockey. Vancouver would have got to the final either way, just saying, they've had the only luck in the playoffs
The bolts run to
east final was a
complete fluke
and they will be
lucky to make it
to the playoffs
next year, pens
take the cup
in 2012 over san
jose and in 2013
over chicago!!!!!!!
guaranteed!!!!
Pittsburgh takes
the cup in 2012 and
2013 guaranteed!!!!!
Andrew "the finger" Ference and Nathan "The Water Bottle" Hornton is who everyone is hoping to win??? Bunch of Crowd fingering...innocent fan water squirting group of classless goons on the planet ... Baby Face Bieska and the boys don't waste time taunting the opposition's fans...the guys to taunt are on the ice not in the stands...what a bunch of maroons... Go Canucks Go
Manny Malholtra playing with one eye and out of shape is ONLY good for Boston.
@#$% in 5 now.
I totally believe the Bruins can destroy the Cansucks easily. They mostly rely on their PP, and 5 on 3's, and the REFS who gave them those advantages. Without all the PP's, the Cansucks will going to DIE.
I can't wait to see the Cansucks go down WITH their arrogant stupid fans.
LETS GO BRUINS!!! let's go and get the Stanley Cup this year!!!!
One word can describe this series........Yawn
The west is soft and weak. Just smack em around a little bit and they lose their drive to win. Do it in a 7 game series then they get scared to do their ice queen routine up and down the ice. Just watch what happens.
