C Alex Burmistrov didn't improve in his sophomore season, even though the numbers try to suggest otherwise. The young Russian, who was the eighth overall draft pick two years ago, had 13 goals and 15 assists after recording six and 14 during his rookie campaign in Atlanta. The problem is 11 of his 28 points came in his first 12 games. After that he had 17 points in 64 contests. He ended the season on a 17-game goal drought and needs to bounce back strongly next season.
