Thanks to Streit's goal 53 seconds into the extra period, the Islanders got their second overtime win and their third overall victory - 4-3 over the Washington Capitals on Friday night.
Advice: Streit also added an assist as he ended a seven-game drought without a point. After leading the Islanders in points last season, he probably won't do repeat the feat with some talented young forwards around, but the effort should get Streit back on track.
