D John-Michael Liles suffered a shoulder injury in the first period and missed the remainder of the game. Liles was hurt at the 11:58 mark when he was hit along the boards. He will be reexamined Saturday. He missed seven games earlier this season with a bruised chest. |

Liles returned to the lineup Friday evening after being sidelined since October 12 with a shoulder injury. Recommendation: Although he didn't do too much in the loss, Liles skated 19:25 and looks good to go for your next lineup decision. Liles registered 39 points last season and already has five through seven games this campaign. The Avs next play Sunday at Vancouver. |
