D John-Michael Liles was welcomed back to the lineup Friday and he responded with two power-play assists in the first period. Liles missed five games with a shoulder injury. Liles said sitting out while nursing this latest injury "was a blessing" because he wasn't completely healthy when he returned Oct. 30 after missing nine games with a chest injury. "It let everything heal and now I'm 100 percent," Liles said.

Liles (shoulder) could return to the lineup on Wednesday against Edmonton, the Denver Post reports.
Recommendation: Sounds like Liles will be a game-time decision. If he doesn't take to the ice on Wednesday, he could be a go for Friday's game against Vancouver.
