LW Milan Michalek, who had one goal in the playoffs against the Rangers, scored a big one for Czechs at the world championships. His spectacular solo effort with 29 seconds left in a tie game knocked Sweden out of the tournament. Michalek, who scored a team-leading 35 goals for the Senators this season, is once again expected to play with Jason Spezza on the top line next season, as the two have formed a good chemistry.
