D Zbynek Michalek doesn't want to go anywhere. Reports surfaced in May that Michalek would be willing to disregard the limited-trade clause in his contract, should general manager Ray Shero wish to deal him this summer. Michalek still has three years remaining on a contract that pays him $4 million per season. He and D Paul Martin have been gigantic disappointments and, given their hefty contracts, would seem likely candidates to move in a trade, should Shero find a partner. However, sources close to Michalek have confirmed that he is happy in Pittsburgh and with the Penguins. Michalek recently had hip surgery but is expected to be ready for the beginning of the 2012-13 season.
