G Ilya Bryzgalov wasn't tested often, but came up big when he had to in making 23 saves Saturday, once again holding the opposition to two goals or less. Only Scott Hartnell's second period goal prevented him from a fourth shutout this season but it wasn't enough to keep the Coyotes from winning. Bryzgalov allowed five goals in three games over four nights, and Phoenix has ridden his play to collect five of six possible points. |

Bryzgalov just missed his third straight win in Thursday night's 3-2 overtime loss in St. Louis. Advice: Bryzgalov, who has a 2.03 goals-against average in 18 games this season, could next face Philadelphia for the first time since a 3-2 win on Dec. 18, 2007. |

Bryzgalov was strong, stopping 24 of the 26 shots he faced in Phoenix's 3-2 win in Minnesota on Wednesday night. Recommendation: This is the Bryzgalov that his owner's have grown to know, and love this season. Such tremendous value for anybody who drafted Bryz. With Jason Labarbera starting Phoenix's game on Monday night, it would seem as though Bryzgalov would be in line for the back-to-back start tomorrow night in St. Louis, but we'll let you know for sure as soon as the Coyotes announce who is going to get the nod. |
