Tanabe was a no-show for training camp and is still dealing with a concussion he sustained last season, the Raleigh News and Observer reported. Advice: The Hurricanes tried to buy out his contract, prompting the NHL Players' Association to file a grievance, but either way it doesn't look like Tanabe will be back on the ice anytime soon. |
