Souray (concussion) returned to the Oilers on Sunday.
Recommendation: Souray had missed the previous 16 games with a concussion, but showed no ill effects against the Thrashers on Sunday. Souray played over 25 minutes including almost six on the power play. He didn't register a point but came out of the game none the worse for wear. He should be safe to activate in your lineups this coming week.

D Sheldon Souray, after five weeks on the shelf with what was initially diagnosed as a mild concussion, is finally back in the lineup. The physical, hard-shooting defenseman made his return Sunday afternoon against the Atlanta Thrashers, a welcome sight for a team that dearly missed his leadership and on-ice presence. "It was good, a little bit rusty," said Souray. "It feels good to be back with the team and hopefully relieve some of the pressure on other guys."
