Doan earned a helper on the final Phoenix goal in their 5-2 win over Dallas on Friday night.
Recommendation: The assists are where you'd expect them to be for Doaner, but the problem has been the lack of goals from the Phoenix captain. It's nearly a third of the way through the season, and Doan is going to struggle to get to 20 goals at this pace. He's also capable of rolling to the rink and getting a hat-trick in the next game. It could be a good time to buy low if there is a frustrated Doan owner in your league.

LW Shane Doan snapped a five-game scoring drought with an empty net goal that clinched the win Saturday. He didn't actually score, but he was awarded the goal when Chris Pronger was called for a hooking penalty while Doan was attempting to shoot into the empty net.
