News and Notes
May 24 Aucoin revealed that he had been playing during the postseason with a groin injury, Craig Morgan of Fox AZ reports.

Recommendation: Aucoin had his quietest year offensively in the last three seasons, with nine points in 64 games (he had 22 points in 75 games in 2010 and 28 in 82 games in 2009). As a free agent this offseason, it would be a surprise to see Aucoin back in the desert, especially given the pool of young blue line talent the Coyotes have stockpiled.

May 23 D Adrian Aucoin missed his fourth game of the conference finals with an injury that left the Coyotes mixing and matching against the Kings. David Schlemko played in place of Aucoin in Game 5 and was left behind on Mike Richards' goal in the second period. The only game that Aucoin played and the Coyotes had their normal defensive rotation, they won 2-0 (Game 4). Yahoo! Sports
