Legace allowed four goals in the third period of Friday's 6-4 loss to the Thrashers.
Recommendation: The Hurricanes were on pace for a win until Legace collapsed in the third frame. We advise against starting Legace unless you are desperate for someone to man the pipes on your fantasy squad. Getting plenty of starts with Cam Ward (leg) on the shelf, Legace has posted a weak 2-4-2 record and 3.23 goals against average.

G Manny Legace played in an Atlanta/Carolina game at Raleigh's RBC Center, the Hurricanes' home arena, for the second time this season. During the preseason when he was trying to land a roster spot with the Atlanta Thrashers, he played against the Hurricanes. He was the losing goalie for the Hurricanes in the rematch when he gave up four third-period goals before an empty-net goal sealed Atlanta's 6-4 victory.
