New York Rangers at Ottawa Senators Quarters Game 3: Fan Playoff Preview
One of the major downfalls of the New York Rangers losing a game on their home ice is that three of the next four games will be played on the road. Luckily for the Rangers, they have been a fairly strong road team this season. Regardless, any advantage is welcome during the playoffs.
The Rangers will be forced to turn to new forward Chirs Kreider, who has yet to make his NHL debut since Carl Hagelin has been suspended for three games for laying out Daniel Alfredsson. Kreider recently signed after winning his second NCAA Frozen Four with Boston College. It will be exciting to see how he performs in such a high-pressure situation.
The New York Rangers will take on the Ottawa Senators at the Scotiabank Place located in Ottawa, Ontario on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
New York comes into Game 3 of the first round finishing the season with a 51-24-7 record. They were 24-12-5 on the road during the regular season.
