Detroit Red Wings at Philadelphia Flyers, March 6, 2012: Fan Preview
The Detroit Red Wings are hurting. Not in the fact two points can be the deciding factor between first place in the Western Conference and fourth, but the fact six players will likely be unavailable for the game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
"The reality is that you go through lots of things through the year," Detroit coach Mike Babcock said. "You've got to suck it up and get back to it."
Red Wings fans can only hope the call-ups and the remainder of the team can step up their game while reserve goaltender Joey MacDonald mans the pipes. With so much on the line with only a month remaining, they don't have much choice.
