Canucks recall RW Shannon

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker)—The Vancouver Canucks on Saturday recalled right wing Ryan Shannon from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Manitoba Moose.

Shannon, 24, has two goals in three games with the Canucks this season. The Darien, Connecticut native also appeared in 53 games with the Anaheim Ducks last season, collecting two goals and nine assists.

Acquired from Anaheim on June 23, Shannon played in 13 contests with the Moose this season, scoring one goal and eight points.
