Blues assign G Legace to minors

ST. LOUIS (TICKER) —The St. Louis Blues on Saturday assigned veteran goaltender Manny Legace to Peoria of the American Hockey League.

Legace, 36, has played in 29 games this season, posting a 13-9-2 record with a 3.18 goals-against average and an .885 save percentage.

A 1993 eighth-round pick of the Hartford Whalers, Legace owns a career record of 177-92-18-18 and a 2.38 GAA.

In another move, the Blues recalled defenseman Steve Wagner from Peoria. The 24-year-old collected one goal and two points in 17 games with the Blues earlier this season.
