Craig Anderson: Enters Camp as Top Goalie

Update: Anderson comes into training camp as the No. 1 goalie for the Avalanche, the Denver Post reports.

Recommendation: Anderson posted a 15-7-5 record and .924 save percentage last season with the Panthers. The job is Anderson’s to lose, as his only real competition for the gig comes from Peter Budaj(notes), who has not been able to establish himself as a bona fide No. 1 goaltender in Colorado the last two seasons. However, from a fantasy perspective, don’t expect a lot of wins out of Anderson this season as the Avs are a young, rebuilding team who will once again struggle to make the playoffs.
