Update: Kovalchuk (foot) will be a game time decision Thursday against the Rangers according to Coach John Anderson, the Blueland Blog reports.

Recommendation: They will see how his foot feels in the morning after a couple of days in a row on it. Anderson jokingly downgraded his chances to play from 95 percent to 90 percent. His chances to play still look pretty good at this point.
