David Booth: Dealing With Concussion

Update: Booth (concussion) will miss at least one week of action, but the team is largely encouraged by his condition upon release from a Philadelphia hospital, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Recommendation: Panthers GM Randy Sexton said he was pleasantly surprised by how positive and coherent Booth sounded during a phone conversation the two had Sunday. More encouraging news is that this is Booth’s first concussion, but the Panthers will clearly proceed with caution, as he is one of their brightest offensive stars recovers.
