Dany Heatley: Picks up Assist in Visit to Edmonton Friday

Update: Heatley picked up an assist in Friday’s 5-4 SO win against Edmonton.

Recommendation: On Friday night, Heatley had to deal with more boo birds than usual since Edmonton was the team that had made a number of attempts to acquire the talented forward in the offseason, only for Heater to block a deal early last summer. Even if it had costed him a burnt bridge with Edmonton, Heatley is playing at an extremely high level with the Sharks. The sniper has 18 goals and 12 assists through 27 games.
