Penguins president recovering after heart attack
PITTSBURGH (AP)—Pittsburgh Penguins president David Morehouse is recovering from a heart attack in San Jose, Calif., where the team played its last game.
Penguins’ vice president of communications Tom McMillan says Morehouse became ill as the team was preparing to fly out of San Jose on Sunday, the morning after a 5-0 loss to the Sharks.
McMillan says Morehouse was still in an undisclosed hospital in San Jose on Monday and should return to Pittsburgh in a couple of days. McMillan says Morehouse had a “minor procedure” after the heart attack, and is expected to make a full recovery.
The Penguins hired the 48-year-old Morehouse in 2004 to help craft a financing deal for the $325 million Consol Energy Center set to open next fall. He was promoted to president two years ago.

pensburgh256 is an obvious band wagoner, that knows nothing about hockey. The reason Crosby's line is not producing is the lack of a 2nd scoring line. Malkin hurry back! The PP sucks because we struggle to get the puck into the offensive zone and set things up, Goligoski is doing his best but he's not Gonchar. I attended the games in ANH and LA and the Pens were lucky to steal a win in ANH. Kings ganged up on Crosby's line all night. One of the Kings even slashed his stick in half and for the 1st time in my life I didn't see a penalty called. I guess it's not automatic? Anyway, tThey were really flat against the Kings, they were 10 minutes from a 2-1 win, but I was praying they'd only let a goal in and they'd hang on for OT, but it was not to be. Hurry back Gonchar! Go Pens!
