Steen the untouchable,Tlusky the scorer,Schenn the eraser, now poor Kadri! the Laffs will find a way to ruin him as they have all the previous picks. Poor them. Go Harold ballard,Burke,Ferguson! "LET THE GOONING BEGIN"

Leave it to "THE LEAF". Their (Wilson's) logic for sending Kadri down is that he will only get about 60 or 70 points but they want him to develop so that he can get them 100 points. What the...? Anyone that can get 60 points for "THE LEAF" should be captain.
Kadri was the best they had in training camp. I noticed Taveres didn't have a great camp but they are keeping him.
    Bring back Harold

Any of you Knights fans know if Pat Maroon will make it to the big show ?

I grew up with him, but haven't be able to find much about him making the flyers roster

Hey kid, you need to hit the weight room if you want to survive in the NHL. Trust me, your body will thank you. Hockey is a phyisical grind through 82 games.170 pounds is too light. You,ve got the body to bulk up. Word up dude!

Being from London, and a Leaf/Knights fan since the Sixties, I was surprised and elated the Leafs chose Kadri 7th overall. He had 70 pts last year while being off for 5 weeks with a broken jaw. Then he had to take a back seat to Tavares (on his arrival at the trade deadline) and still matched john, the first overall draftpick, night for knight on his play defensively and offensively. Plus Kadri showed up in the playoffs. London's gain Torontos loss. The are several, maybe many 170 lb player not of Kadri's ability and stature playing in the NHL.
I was shocked he did not get to stay for at least 5-8 regular season games.
This was a front office, business decision to save the cap space next year and to save one year on a great' player's eligibility down the road when they will have to resign a player that tried harder than any other current Leaf to make the "big" team. Hope the Leafs haven't shot themselves in the foot....again
Have a great year Nazem. Look out Kitchener, Guelph, Plymouth, Windsor....and Leafs!

P.S. Gustaffsson and ( MacDOnald) as backup to start the season as Toscala hopefully refinds/refines his game iwith the Marlies Hopefully his malingering groin injury wasn't pulled again last night as he attempted to go post to post as we hopeful wait for a saviour...like Kadri!!!???!!!

I am not happy about him being sent to London. That just makes them a very strong team again and hurts my Whalers.... I guess I better enjoy our 7-2 win against the Knights on Saturday while I can. The extra year in the "O" will be good for him. He still needs to get stronger..........

Good move putting Kadri back in the OHL. Yes, he had 5 points in 6 games, but that was against the hopefuls of the other teams not against all MHL talent. He's gotta get bigger, and then the goals will follow. Appears Stalberg's staying -also good news. Who said Komisarek is useless? Are you nuts? Lets put you (who ever said that) with a stick and puck trying to shoot on Komisarek's net... we'll see just how useless he is then. He's a good defenceman and has nothing to prove to any of us... let him do his job.

it is also a business decision....one extra year before free agency or arbitration. just the way the game works, now. shrewd call. at BEST the leafs are a 7th or 8th place team but most likely not a playoff team with or without the guy, so why not let him hit the weight room and work on his game that much more. he's 18....relax everyone.

Some people only look at the stat columns after games and don't actually watch the games *COUGH* john and dutch *COUGH*

Kadri was getting knocked off the puck all the time because he doesnt have the NHL ready body yet, give him a year to bulk up and to get better then give him a try next year, how could it hurt? The kid is only 18 and will have plenty of opportunites in the future

Good job, Wilson/Burke. This kid is a stud, and he needs some seasoning, so the OHL will be great for a year. I'm very happy about that.

Also, looks like the 'Kegstand Line' of Stalberg-Bozak-Hanson won't be staying together, with MMMBop getting sent to the Marls. It also looks like Boze and Stalberg made the big club which is good news.

Dutch and John...you guys dont get it.....He needs to get stronger to handle the rigors of 82 NHL games.....He will go back and do that in London.....He will be the team's leader....and get an invite to participate in the World Juniors.....We need him to be a 90-100 point scorer....
We make the playoffs this year.....we are solid on defence.....I wouldnt worry about goal scoring....its gonna happen

Best thing for the kid, as Wilson said he isn't strong enough yet to handle the pounding night after night. He will be back bigger and better next year.

Kadri will definietly get a few shots throughout the season to crack a spot in the lineup, but next year he'll try even harder to secure a starting spot

Why? Seemed like one of the best players on this team. Give him a shot then send him back. Can't imagine which Superstar the Leafs have that is so much better.

I can't believe the Leafs are sending Kadri back, what a way to hurt a kids confidence, 3 goals 2 assists in 6 games I guess it isn't enough for a team that hasn't made the play-offs for how long, London Knights will welcome him back Memorial cup contender for sure.
