Japers passed along this nutty video of Chicago Blackhawks star and Calder Trophy winner Patrick Kane appearing on Pete and Brian's "Man Food" segment on a site called Eat, Drink or Die.

We didn't know what to make of the site until we saw this name: Chef Tom Colicchio. As hardcore "Top Chef" fans, we know that if it's good enough for Tom Colicchio, it probably isn't garbage.

So here's Pat Kane, attacking someone in a cow costume, observing the preparation and grilling of a cheese steak, and talking smack about being able to take Dominik Hasek in a fight. We're sure at least one of the trees standing stoically in the background is actually Jonathan Toews.

Yankees hat, eh Mr. Kane? And a green one no less.

It's called a cheesestake. No Philly adj needed. It's not like you are going to mix it up with a Fargo cheesesteak. Do you drink it down with a St. Louis Bud?
Also what is "Philly Cheese"? I know most people use wiz, I'm a Prov, Wit guy myself.
AWFUL post. Wysh you owe me a Fat Cat from the Grease Trucks.

Should he not get a game misconduct for not having his sweater tied down?

Sometimes, crap TV is so bad that it actually becomes good, in a campy sort of way. Like that Penguins car commercial with Maxime Talbot going "chicky tee yee chicky yay". You know...
But this, Wyshynski, this just buoys pathetically at the bottom of ordinariness.

Pat Kane is from Buffalo, NY. That's why he's wearing a Yankees cap. He also grew up a Sabres fan and Hasek was his favorite player but he's a Blackhawk now and as a Blackhawks fan I'm good with that.

Buffalo isn't exactly a Yankees hotbed. We've probably got a preponderance of Yankee fans (or Yankee hat-wearers) like every other non-MLB city, but being from Buffalo doesn't justify a douchey Yanks hat. We're closer to Cleveland or Pittsburgh, both of whom the Bisons have been affiliated with.
