According to Dirk Hoag from On The Forecheck, the following video was shown during the Nashville Predators' game against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night, featuring Joel Ward(notes) as a DJ, Steve Sullivan(notes) as a witch, Shea Weber(notes) as Frank and ... J.P. Dumont(notes) as Dracula? Ryan Suter(notes) as a mummy? It's the Predators; you expect us to know faces here?
Well that was delightfully weird and disappointingly generic. Seriously, how much fun could you have with a hockey-themed Halloween rap? Instead, we get head shot photos uploaded to JibJab and placed into the same Halloween rap that's been remade over 10 million times.
And jeez, is it too much to ask for them to make Barry Trotz the sexy witch for the sake of the year's best sight gag?
Only one thing to say about that:
All that said ... there's a special place in hockey heaven for whoever thought to make Shea Weber into Frankenstein's monster.
