This is Kendhal Beal. From her nearly non-functioning Web site, we know that she's a model from Houston who hopes to branch out into the acting world. (Does holding a briefcase on a game show and feigning either elation or disappointment count?)

"Along with modeling, Kendhal also majored in Biology at Lamar University studying to be an Orthodontist." Moving on ...

Kendhal Beal was working the red carpet at former Detroit Red Wings center Igor Larionov's Hall of Fame surprise party at Vice in Hollywood earlier this month. Working for whom? It would appear something called Notorious Models was covering the event. We have no complaints.

Our intrepid inquisitor had a trio of interviews before the party started: "Deal or no Deal" model Leyla Milani; the lovely Diana and Alyonka Larionov, a.k.a. Alexander Ovechkin awards show arm candy; and the man himself, Igor Larionov, whom she congratulates for being the "fish ... fifth Russian to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame."

Here's Igor, successfully stifling a laugh as Kendhal Beal unleashes a series of meandering hockey questions; including one in which she asks why he started the infamous Colorado Avalanche brawl with the Wings. We think. Her questions have the orderly structure of a seven-layer burrito in a blender:

Here's Kendhal with Leyla Milani, celebrity puckhead (?) and second-place finisher in the WWE Diva search.

Finally, here are the tremendously attractive Diana and Alyonka Larionov are up next, treating this interview with the gravity of a Diane Sawyer sit-down. Without a doubt, two of Igor's most memorable assists.

She's right about the Professor starting it. He got into it with Forsberg behind the net and that sparked everything else.

You know, I'm sure reactions to this post are all over the map. But I can't stop replaying the first five seconds of the Igor interview when she almost calls him the Fish Russian.

#17 - What does the red wings winning the cup have anything to do with this article
It's all about the dumb blond who two fists the mic like it's a big fat....never mind...
    To quote Barry Badrinath
    "It's $10 for a BJ, $12 for an HJ, $15 for a ZJ..."

To Michael H - Nothing, but its just nice to remind everyone of that fact because typically, Wings haters get on and post trash about them. I agree with you, it's just nice. Also, hockey season needs to start so they will have some real story material. Must've taken Wysh the last 6 years to come up with an article like this one.

@ Jon A -- It actually took me seven years. But I knew if I had the thing written, Larionov would eventually make the Hall of Fame and then be interviewed by a "Deal or No Deal" model. Even though the show wasn't even conceived seven years ago. Somehow, I just ... knew ...

Yep, these red wings are a fantastic, fantastic team - the only thing they can be hated for is being so [profane] good, that they should just scratch this season and move on to next years UFA market, and start the 2009-2010 season, THIS august...
@ Wyshynski - you've got no trophies in your trophy case

First off, Igor you are awesome and one heck of a man. Unfortunatly you were interviewed by a class A ditz, how sad that was. Your daughters worked hard to honor you and that shows what a great dad you are, its just to bad, Kendahl did this interview, she needs to give that up, she needs to just open briefcases, and not show how dumb she is, hehe. Congratulations Igor:)

@ Wyshynski: ok SMART A$S!! My point was that based on this article, there isn't much to talk about in the hockey world which is understandably true. A write-up about an attractive blonde with big boobs just has basically jacksh!t to do with hockey, that's the whole point.

Igor Larionov is a legend. I live in LA and whished they'd try to get him to come coach the Kings. Does he have any interest in coaching?
Despite what fanatics may say about Detroit, they've given the world some quality hockey to enjoy for the past 20 years, Larionov being one of the highlights of these times. Sweden wins olympic gold with quality hockey, then the Redwings take the Cup with a group of swede's that are showing North America how the game should be played. When will we see more Euro coaches?
