PHILADELPHIA — Without getting too deep into the mechanics of the Conn Smythe voting, I can tell you that Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith(notes) was very much in the running until the end of Game 6.
Besides an effective final against the Philadelphia Flyers and being one of the highest-scoring defensemen in the playoffs, the blood, sweat and teeth the Norris Trophy finalist gave to the Cup champions earned him the right to be considered one of the team's most valuable players.
