Puck Daddy - NHL

The 2010 NHL Awards show is Wednesday night in Las Vegas. Beginning Monday you'll start seeing everyone's last-minute picks for the top hardware that the NHL will hand out, along with various jokes about Chaka Khan's absence.

Wysh already handicapped the nominees and made predictions for each award, but to put our own little spin on awards season, we surveyed 25 bloggers representing 18 NHL teams and mixed in a few general writers with their favorites for the top-eight awards.

So as to not let our voters have their minded tainted by postseason performances, we polled our participants during the final weekend of the regular season with their ballots being cast before the opening round of the playoffs.

Let's see what some of the blogging world thought who was more deserving of NHL hardware.

Masterton Trophy

Jose Theodore(notes) - 9

Teemu Selanne(notes) - 3

Kurtis Foster(notes) / Jonas Gustavsson(notes) - 2

After the jump, the remaining seven.

Lady Byng Trophy

Martin St. Louis(notes) - 8

Pavel Datsyuk(notes) - 6

Anze Kopitar(notes) - 3

Jack Adams Award

Dave Tippett - 25

Tippett was the only unanimous winner and we wouldn't be surprised if it's the same thing on Wednesday night.

Selke Trophy

Ryan Kesler(notes) - 7

Nicklas Backstrom(notes) / Pavel Datsyuk - 3

Jordan Staal(notes) - 2

Calder Trophy

Tyler Myers(notes) - 16

Jimmy Howard(notes) - 6

Matt Duchene(notes) - 2

Tuukka Rask(notes) - 1

Lots of East Coast love for Jimmy Howard, but Tyler Myers received the most all-around love by our voters.

Norris Trophy

Duncan Keith(notes) - 11

Mike Green(notes) - 8

Drew Doughty(notes) - 4

One of the more interesting votes. Duncan Keith is the favorite, but Drew Doughty seems to be gaining more steam as we get closer to the awards show.

Vezina Trophy

Ryan Miller(notes) - 16

Ilya Bryzgalov(notes) - 7

Martin Brodeur(notes) - 2

Ryan Miller, American Hero, maker of Millercles, is the overwhelming favorite everywhere it seems.

Hart Trophy

Henrik Sedin(notes) - 9

Ilya Bryzgalov - 5

Ryan Miller / Alex Ovechkin(notes) - 4

Sidney Crosby(notes) - 3

Unlike some voters in the Professional Hockey Writers Associations, the bloggers aren't shy with giving goalies some love for MVP. Also, no East Coast bias here with Sedin and Bryzgalov getting the top-two amounts of votes.

Overall, the blogger selections are pretty much on par for the most part with the actual voted on nominees.

We'll have a full voting breakdown after the NHL Awards are handed out on Wednesday night. We won't, however, see who voted for who, but there's a good chance the voters might reveal their choices in columns this week, if they haven't already.

Have you changed your mind on any award predictions over the past several weeks? Of course, without letting postseason play influence your decision. Let us know in the comments.
