Officials from Lokomotiv Yaroslavl have confirmed that the entire main roster from the KHL team was on the plane that crashed in Central Russia on Wednesday, along with the coaches and four players from its youth team.
Here is a Russia Today piece on the crash from Wednesday morning:
Including the crew, there were 45 aboard the flight that was headed to Minsk for the Lokomotiv's opening game. Here was the roster for the team as of Aug. 31. The players that were on the plane are still being identified.

A Lokomotiv official to SovSport:
"The plane with our team was supposed to take off around 4 p.m. At first we didn't want to believe it. But right now there is no hope. The team is gone. I heard that there are two people [who survived] and are in critical condition. But I don't know who they are..."
There were two survivors: a crew member and a KHL player.
The agent for Alexander Galimov, a member of the Russian national team, told SovSport that the 26-year-old player survived the crash. Galimov has played with Lokomotiv since 2004, predating the KHL's inaugural season in 2008. He was never drafted by an NHL team and has only played in Russia.
Russia Today reports he's been hospitalized with burns to 80 percent of his body.
Here is additional video of the crash site.
