What's with all the talk about Gagne being on the LTIR changing their cap hit? LTIR players still count against the cap, just the league allows you to go over the cap by an amount equal to their salary if and only if it's used on a replacement player. Stating they have a cap hit of 50.9M makes it sound like they're now saving space for later, and that's definitely not how LTIR works.
