Here are your Puck Previews: Spotlighting the key games in NHL action, news and views as well as general frivolity. Make sure to stop back here for the nightly Three Stars when the games are finished.

Preview: Anaheim Ducks (2-1-1) at New York Rangers (3-1-0), 5 p.m. EST.
Sean Avery(notes) and goaltender Steven Valiquette will make their season debuts for the Rangers this evening as the team looks to continue its solid start. Marian Gaborik(notes) is leading New York in goals scored (4) and points (6) and has found his name on the scoresheet in each of the Rangers four games this season. The Ducks visit Madison Square Garden a night after a dramatic victory over the Philadelphia Flyers that saw Teemu Selanne(notes) score twice in the final 6:44 to tie the game and then record the winning goal in the shootout. Jean-Sebastien Giguere(notes) could make his second start of the season.
Preview: Dallas Stars (1-0-2) at Vancouver Canucks (1-3-0), 10 p.m. EST.
After dealing with hip and groin issues, Stars forward Jere Lehtinen(notes) may be in the lineup tonight. One player who won't be on the ice tonight, or anytime soon, is Canucks forward Daniel Sedin(notes) who will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a broken foot after blocking a shot last Wednesday night. Guillaume Desbiens(notes) has been called up to take Daniel's place in the lineup. There's no word on if Alex Auld(notes) will start in goal for Dallas after an impressive 5-2 win over the previously undefeated Calgary Flames on Friday night. Tonight also features Marc Crawford's first trip back to Vancouver since he took over the reigns behind the Dallas bench.

Puck Buddy Comment of the Day: By "MAC" from last night's three stars:
"There's a gordie howe hat trick. It has a goal, an assist and a fight.
I propose the Teemu Selanne hat trick. Two real goals and a shootout goal."
Any takers?
Bold Prediction: Marian Gaborik scores two goals to continue his sizzling start, but the Ducks escape in a shootout.

I am destroying the field in my pool. Absolutely destroying. Tip : do not listen to dobber.
IMO, Bobby Ryan was screaming "sophomore jinx". I drafted Perry AFTER Ryan was long gone. Way too many people were all over Ryan. They seem to forget it took him four years to make it to the show. God forbid they take him off the Getzlaf-Perry line, you'll be screwed...
Sweet game for the Rags. Del Sotto is looking like the (very, very) early front-runner for the Calder.

Guy F : Yeah I dont listen to anyone honestly, I try to use my sense of whats going on to determin who I pick. I picked Ryan cuz I felt maybe they were just bringing him along slowly due to the team being loaded for a few years there and was hoping to avoid the soph jinx with the fact that he was drafted #2 right behind Crosby. I am just so surprized because not only has he produced squat for G/A's but his SOG is putrid but Getz/Perry are getting quite a few per game. Maybe it would benefit him to be the focal point of his own line (?). If opponents worried about Getz/Perry and then Koivu/Selane it might open him up to the opponents 3rd line talent.
