Please do not adjust the contrast settings on your screen: The ECHL's Florida Everblades wore these adventures in color on Friday night against the Greenville Road Warriors, losing the game and their dignity; and on Saturday night for their annual Teddy Bear Toss, which resulted in another defeat.
Aside from being a terrible neon green the socks match the jersey, even down to the happy holidays on the knees. It might be hard to see, but there's a snowflake pattern.
Here's the back of the sweater, via Naples Daily News:
What do you think? Good or bad? Being from Oregon, and a lifelong Ducks fan, I'm all for experimentation with uniforms but I'm not even sure I can sign off on these...
For comparison's sake, here's what the Blades usually wear. In defense of what we imagine will be the indefensible, the special sweaters might have come closer to working were it not for the gaudy "Happy Holidays" on the bottom of the jersey. (Oh, and seriously: Just have it read "Merry Christmas." Holly, lights, glass balls ... unless there's a dreidel on the fighting strap, let's not pretend it's a "holiday" jersey, OK?)

So maybe a tweak here or there saves the effort; instead, the Florida Everblades look like a greeting card from the dollar store that was marinated in toxic waste.
We're pretty sure we already know the answer, but we'll ask anyway:
