He's been to the Stanley Cup Finals the past two seasons and came up on the wrong end. It was his decision to leave the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2008 and join the then-defending champion Detroit Red Wings because he felt they had a better chance to win. We all know how that story ended. Now, he's going to try his luck over the next 12-years in Chicago hoping to continue the restoration of glory in the Windy City.
Marian Hossa's(notes) been the butt of jokes all summer regarding his decision making and it seems that during the Golden Puck Awards in Slovakia recently, they wanted to have a little fun with it as well. Hossa took home the award for best forward and along with the trophy he was given a live goat named Stanley (The Slovak word for male goat is "cap", so in fact he did receive the Stanley "cap").

If the NHL handed out livestock with their awards, would more people watch? And the winner of the Hart Trophy is...Alex Ovechkin! Please also enjoy this calf named Connie!
Other winners included Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara(notes) taking home the best player and best defenseman awards and Jaroslav Halak(notes) winning best goaltender.
