According to Jenna Laine of ESPN, Josh Fisher, an eight-year old cancer survivor will lead the Buccaneers out of the tunnel during kickoff this afternoon in today’s home opener vs. the Rams. Fisher developed a relationship with several of the players when he participated in the squad’s annual Cut for a Cure, which was created to help raise funds for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Patients who participate in Cut for a Cure get the chance to shave players’ heads in an effort to raise money for the great cause. Due to injuries, Tampa Bay will roll with their backup running back as the starter this weekend vs. the Rams. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have Charles Sims as their top option in the backfield for Week 3. Sims will get the nod as the starter, but he is expected to split some of his touches with fellow backup running back Jacquizz Rodgers in the team’s matchup with the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday.
