Jan 21 Notes: Sunday's loss dropped the Chargers to 1-3 in AFC Championship games, and does not include San Diego's 51-10 win over the Boston Patriots in the 1963 AFL Championship.... A hyperextended left knee limited RB LaDainian Tomlinson to just five yards on two carries and one catch for one yard. He said afterward that he is hopeful that he will not need surgery in the offseason. ... TE Antonio Gates caught just two balls for 17 yards, playing through dislocated big toe on his right foot.
