    The Saints are coming up against one of the better third-down defenses in the NFL this week. San Diego has faced 34 third downs and has only allowed nine conversions. That should give the Saints a good test this week. “I think it is an important down this game,” coach Sean Payton said. “This is one of the better third down defensives in the league. I think they are second right now. They do a good job rushing the passer.
