    Cardinals could know this week if Tom Brady's suspension will be upheld

    As of today, the Arizona Cardinals will not face Tom Brady in Week 1, when the New England Patriots come to town for Sunday Night Football. Brady is currently under a four-game suspension stemming from the Deflategate scandal of 2014. He has appealed the ruling that reinstated the suspension and a decision could come this week, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.  After a three-judge panel in the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated the original four-game suspension, Brady and his legal team filed an appeal requesting an en banc hearing in which all all the judges would hear the case and make a ruling.     Update on Michael Lombardi's exit from the Patriots

    This is an update to a previous story on former Cleveland Browns GM Michael Lombardi. Previously, it was believed that he was voluntarily leaving his assistant position with the New England Patriots so that he could pursue a job in media again. Ben Volin of the Boston Globe is hearing otherwise, though.
