&lt;p&gt;Maybe it's not surprising then, to see the Chiefs looking at three more lightly known candidates for their kicker's job in 2008.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After a year in which Kansas City cut '07 fifth-round draft pick Justin Medlock after one game, then tried to get by with Dave Rayner and aging John Carney, the Chiefs will take a look at two other NFL castoffs and an undrafted rookie in 2008.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The leading contender, if NFL experience is any factor, would appear to be Billy Cundiff, who played on and off for four seasons with Dallas (2002-05). He is best known for kicking a then-record seven field goals in a Monday night game against the Giants in 2003.</description>
